Grandma’s Sweet Beets

My Grandma always put a “relish tray” on the table. These were always in it.

She had the divided Tupperware dishes that she made her relish tray. Sweet beets, pickled okra, olives, bread and butter pickles, sliced tomatoes, cucumber… different things and whatever was available. Sweet Beets were almost always on the tray.

1 (15 oz) can plain sliced beets

½ c sugar

1 tsp white vinegar

Combine all and boil for 15 minutes.
