Ingredients: 2 TBS Cumin; 3 TBS Chili powder; 1 TBS Paprika; 1 TBS Black pepper; 2 ½ tsp Salt; 1 ½ tsp Onion powder; 1 ½ tsp Garlic powder; 1 ½ tsp Oregano; ⅛ (heaping) tsp Ground cayenne pepper

This recipe is enough to replace 3 packages of store bought mix. I store mine in an airtight vintage glass peanut butter jar.

You’ll Need

2 TBS Cumin
3 TBS Chili powder
1 TBS Paprika
1 TBS Black pepper
2 ½ tsp Salt
1 ½ tsp Onion powder
1 ½ tsp Garlic powder
1 ½ tsp Oregano
⅛ (heaping) tsp Ground cayenne pepper

Directions

Mix together and store in an airtight container.

KellRae’s Kitchen Tips

To Use: Use 3 TBS mix anywhere a package of taco seasoning is needed.
For 1 lb ground beef, brown the beef. Drain. Add 3 TBS Taco seasoning mix and ¼ cup water or broth. Stir well and simmer until the liquid is absorbed
KellRae’s Extra Kitchen Tip: If you layer two tortillas on your plate, only fill the top one. Eat it over the second tortilla. The extra toppings that fall out will make a second taco. You’re welcome 😁
